Bettinger ran for election to the King County Northeast Division.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 31.4 percent of the vote. She competed against Janet E. Garrow. [1] 

Education

Bettinger received her undergraduate degree in pre-law and political science from Central Washington University in 1998, and a J.D. from Thomas Cooley Law School in 2000.[2]
