Bob Ries was a 2018 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Minnesota.[1] Ries withdrew from the race in April 2018 after Dan Feehan received the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party nomination at the endorsement convention.[2]
