McDonald ran for re-election for the Division 29 judge of the Pima County Superior Court in Arizona. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
McDonald was appointed by Gov. Doug Ducey (R) on February 27, 2018, to replace Judge Sarah Simmons.[1]
