Jeffrey Sklar is a judge for Division Two of the Arizona Court of Appeals. He assumed office on January 2, 2023. His current term ends on January 4, 2027.

Gov. Doug Ducey appointed Sklar to the Arizona Court of Appeals to replace former Judge Philip Espinosa.

Sklar previously served as a judge of the Pima County Superior Court in Arizona. He was appointed to the court on January 19, 2021, by Gov. Doug Ducey (R) to replace John Hinderaker.[1]

Biography

Sklar received a bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona and a J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.[1] Sklar previously worked as a partner at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie. From 2018 to his appointment, Sklar served as a Pima County Superior Court Judge Pro Tem. Prior to joining Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie, Sklar practiced law at Irell & Manella. He has also clerked for former Justice Scott Bales of the Arizona Supreme Court.[1]
