On the civilian side, upon graduation from college, I obtained a job as an auditor with the Office of Inspector General for the Department of Health and Human Services. After several years, I left that job to pursue a career in law enforcement. I then started to work as a Police Officer with the Baltimore County Police Department. Subsequently, after three years, I went to work for the FBI. I retired from the FBI in 2021 after 24 years of service as a Special Agent. I have a wonderful wife and great kids.
- Public Safety/Crime - My experiences in over 27 years in law enforcement drive my response. I believe government’s response to crime is among government’s primary functions. People need to feel and be safe in their homes and neighborhoods.
- Education - A quality education was key to my family being able to move up the economic ladder; therefore, it should be avialable to all. Schools need to be held accountable. Government money should follow the student.
- Economy - Inflation is hurting everyone - especially impacting those who can least afford it. Energy security/independence would aid in lowering the everyday costs of all Americans.
