Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am the daughter of a high school football coach/athletic director, and grade school

secretary, adopted at birth. My father served in the Navy during WWII as a Chief Petty Officer. My mother was a secretary and bookkeeper. They both survived the Great Depression as children and like most of their generation, tried to give their own children a childhood free of poverty and want. They were part of the Greatest Generation and I could not be more proud.

I am an MD Pathologist, semi-retired.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

• I am not a politician, but am an ordinary person, just like you, who believes in service to their country and will stand up for the ordinary people, unafraid of the power brokers. I stand with the teachers, the veterans, the factory workers, the waitress and waiter, the line cook and dishwasher, construction worker and the essential of all essential workers, the truck driver.
• No one is above the law. We need to restore transparency, accountability and justice to the halls of congress.
• We need to restore opportunity for ordinary people to live a life that is affordable and fair.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Campaign finance reform. Universal Healthcare.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

• I believe Arkansans deserve a fair chance to build a stable, dignified life. Over the last few decades, laws have been passed that favored the wealthy and big corporations. The working class has been squeezed, and too many people now live one illness or one crisis away from losing everything. As a healthcare professional, I’ve seen the effects of these policies. Conditions caught too late because someone skipped the care they needed so they could pay their rent or their mortgage. When people can’t make ends meet, their health suffers.
• I’m running because we can’t keep letting billionaires and corporations dictate the cost of every aspect of our lives. We NEED leaders who won’t be bought, who won’t just answer to wealthy donors, but instead will fight for the people who elected them. Arkansans deserve a government that works FOR US, not for corporations, or lobbyists, or billionaires. It’s time to take back OUR voices and OUR power. I will fight for a government of the people, by the people, for the people.

Campaign finance reform. Banning stock trading by officials and their families. Breaking up monopolies. Raising the minimum wage and tying it to inflation. Building infrastructure that benefits working people. Universal Healthcare. Limits on private equity, especially in housing.
