Expand all | Collapse all

I am running for State Senate to put people first. In District 23, families deserve more than just a seat at the table. They deserve opportunity, dignity, and a government that works for them, not just the powerful few. I believe in expanding access to quality education, protecting healthcare, defending fundamental rights, and investing in communities that have too often been overlooked. I am committed to lowering everyday costs, strengthening public safety through smart policy, and creating an economy that works for working families.
  • Access to opportunity starts early. I support universal childcare, universal Pre-K, and fully funded, tuition-free K–12 public education — including eliminating school fees and covering meals and extracurriculars. I believes every child deserves an equal starting point.
  • I believe economic opportunity requires quality jobs that pay a living wage. I support protecting labor unions, strengthening worker protections, and expanding opportunities for workers to organize. My goal is to ensure that working families share in Utah’s economic growth.
  • I believe housing is a necessity, not an investment asset. I support increasing housing supply through zoning reform while discouraging corporate ownership and speculation. My proposal includes requiring affordable units in new developments, expanding non-market housing options, taxing secondary homes, and limiting corporate dominance in housing construction to ensure real affordability for Utah families.
