I’m running for Arlington City Council because our city needs leadership that answers to residents — not insiders, not special interests, and not politics as usual. Arlington is growing rapidly. Growth can bring opportunity — but without accountability, it can also bring congestion, strain on infrastructure, and decisions that leave neighborhoods feeling ignored. Too many residents feel City Hall listens after decisions are made instead of before. That has to change. As a small business owner, veteran spouse, Citizen’s Police Academy graduate, youth mentor, and community advocate, I understand responsibility, service, and what it means to earn trust. I’ve balanced budgets. I’ve worked with law enforcement. I’ve mentored young people. And I’ve sat at kitchen tables with neighbors who simply want their voices heard. My priorities are straightforward: Public safety that keeps our neighborhoods secure Smart, responsible development that protects homeowners Transparent budgeting and fiscal discipline Infrastructure and parks that improve everyday quality of life This isn’t about slowing progress. It’s about managing it wisely. Growth should strengthen neighborhoods — not override them.
Arlington deserves leaders who ask tough questions, demand clear answers, and remember who they work for. I’m running to bring independent leadership, practical experience, and a commitment to put neighborhoods first — every time.- SAFE STREETS AND RESPONSIVE CITY SERVICES. “Public safety is the first responsibility of city government, because without safety, nothing else works.”
- SMART GROWTH THAT PROTECTS HOMEOWNERS
- FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY AND TRANSPARENCY
