The North Carolina Legislative Compensation Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in North Carolina on November 4, 1924, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure would have provided legislators with compensation per session as well as for mileage travelled to and from sessions.[1]
