Georgia Amendment 2, Election of Local School Boards and Superintendents Amendment (1992)

The Georgia Boards of Education Elections Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Georgia on November 3, 1992, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure provided that local boards of education be elected and local school superintendents be appointed by said board.[1][2]
