The Michigan Part-Time Legislature Amendment was not on the November 4, 2014 statewide ballot in Michigan as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. The measure would have made the state legislature part-time, meaning ninety-day legislative sessions.[1]
The proposed amendment was sponsored in the Michigan Legislature by State Senator John Proos (R-21) as Senate Joint Resolution E.[2]

To place the measure on the ballot, a minimum two-thirds vote was required in both the House and the Senate.
