Arkansas: Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe appointed Jeff Priebe on April 28, to serve as a special justice on the Arkansas Supreme Court. Priebe is an attorney from North Little Rock and was appointed to hear the appeal of Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley after Associate Justice Elana Wills recused herself from the case. The three men who filed the complaint are appealing their 1993 conviction for the murders of three West Memphis boys.[1]
