The Illinois State Representation Amendment was a constitutional convention referral on the December 15, 1970 ballot in Illinois. It asked whether members of the state legislature should be elected from multi-member districts or single-member districts. The public voted to retain the system of electing the legislature from multi-member districts.[1] [2]
