The Louisiana Bogalusa Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 51, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 3, 1970, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed that a two mill tax can be levied in Bogalusa for the firemen's fund in the city.[1]
