Feinstein completed a voter guide profile for the 70 West Sentinel:

Why are you are running for office?

To address the current and future needs of the Wentzville School District.

If you are challenging an incumbent, what qualifies you for the position more than the incumbent?

I feel I am more qualified to accomplish the responsibilities than the incumbents for several reasons. First, I have children that currently attend the District. I am involved in the schools, as a volunteer and with parents within the District. I see the day to day issues our teachers face with rapid growth, overcrowded classrooms, budget concerns and lack of preparation for handling the problems associated with where our District is headed. I see too often at board meetings the Board members ask questions that they should and would already know if they were prepared by visiting with teachers, administrators and parents to see the day to day issues we face. Being a board member is about being a champion for our schools, putting students first and providing for the District’s needs to accomplish the task of providing top notch education to our children. I see too many board members representing their constituencies, not our students.

What are you top three priorities if you are elected?

Additional classroom space, retention and recruitment of quality educators for the District and maintaining fiscal responsibility when administering taxpayer’s and state funds.

What do you think residents see as the biggest problem in the Wentzville School District?

Providing top notch education while facing rapid growth and budget constraints and getting five different municipalities to agree on how to do it together.

What do you think students and parents see as the biggest problem in the Wentzville School District?

Overcrowded classrooms, the need for more space, smaller class sizes and continued rapid growth.

What do you think is the district’s best asset?

Teachers, Support Staff, Students, Administrators and supportive stakeholders.[5]
