The Lafarge Schools Exceed Revenue Limit was a school bond issue on the November 4 ballot in the School District of LaFarge, which is in Vernon and Richland counties. The purpose of the referendum was to add $250,000 per year to the school budget. The annual additional funds will be used to help maintain and upgrade facilities.

Text of measure

Be it resolved by the School District Board of Education of the School District of LaFarge, Vernon and Richland Counties, Wisconsin, that the revenues included in the School District Budget for the 2009-2010 school year and thereafter, be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $250,000 a year, for recurring purposes of maintaining and improving instructional materials, programs and staff, replacing technology equipment, updating facility equipment and maintaining the current School District facilities.
