Five measures set to be on Alaska ballot

JUNEAU, Alaska: A total of five ballot measures are slated to appear on the Alaska ballot, two on the primary ballot and three on the general election ballot in November. The measures were certified by way of both initiative and legislature. The measures that voters in Alaska will see follow:

  • An initiative that would bar public organization or person who is employed by the state receiving, permitting, requiring or facilitating the use of public resources for any political agenda such as campaigning, lobbying or other similar activities. Violation would result in a Class A misdemeanor if the measure is approved.
