Clarence Harvey, Jr.

Clarence Harvey, Jr. holds an at-large seat on the Monongalia County Schools school board in West Virginia. Harvey initially was elected to a six-year term on the Board of Education in 1984 and subsequently was re-elected to two four-year terms. He returned to office in 2006 and won re-election on May 13, 2014.
Biography
Harvey is a Morgantown native and a graduate of University High School. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from West Virginia University and a doctoral degree in education from Penn State University. Harvey began his career as a professional educator in 1948, teaching at Daybrook Junior High. He also served as a principal and in several central office administrative positions before his retirement in 1984. Harvey and his wife, Wilma, have three children, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.[1]
