Eric Dunning
Eric Dunning is the Nebraska Director of Insurance. He assumed office on April 19, 2021. His current term ends on January 7, 2027.
Gov. Pete Ricketts (R) appointed Dunning as the Nebraska director of insurance on April 2, 2021, to succeed Bruce Ramge. He assumed office on April 19, 2021. [1] Governor-elect Jim Pillen (R) reappointed Dunning on November 14, 2022.[2]
Biography
Eric Dunning earned a B.A. in history from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School. Dunning's career experience includes working as the director of government affairs of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska and as an attorney with the Nebraska Department of Insurance.[1]
