Dianne Murphy was a 2013 Democratic candidate for District 127 of the Georgia House of Representatives.[1]

Murphy ran in a special election for Georgia House of Representatives District 127. The seat was vacant following Rep. Quincy Murphy' s (D) death after a battle with cancer. Murphy faced Dianne Murphy (D) and Brian Prince (D) in the special election, which took place on November 5. She did not garner enough votes to advance to the runoff.[2][3][1][4]
