Gigi Bowman
Georgina "Gigi" Bowman was a 2014 Libertarian candidate for District 5 of the New York State Senate.
Biography
Bowman works as a real estate agent. Prior to 2004, she worked as a bookkeeper. Bowman is the Director of the Huntington Chapter of the Long Island Board of Realtors, and is a former president of the Central Nassau Chapter. She is also the treasurer and former chair of the Suffolk County Libertarian Party. Bowman runs the website Liberty Candidates and is the co-organizer of SAVE: Long Island. She graduated from Hofstra University with a B.A. in English and Publishing in 1981.[1]

Elections for the New York State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election took place November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was July 10, 2014. Bruce Kennedy, Jr. was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Carl Marcellino was unopposed in the Republican primary. Marcellino also ran on the Conservative Party and Independence Party of New York State tickets. Georgina Bowman ran as a Libertarian candidate. Marcellino defeated Kennedy and Bowman in the general election.[2][3][4]
