Interview with Omaha World Herald

Morgan highlighted the following themes in an interview with Omaha World Herald on September 14, 2019:

Morgan said if elected, she would focus on boosting literacy and increasing career education in Nebraska schools.

'Not every child who goes through high school needs to go to college or wants to go to college,' she said.

Ensuring schools expand history courses and teach them accurately is also a priority, Morgan said.

'I think that being honest and teaching the actual facts of history is something that should be taught, (no matter if) it looks bad for us — own up to it,' Morgan said.[2]
