Margo McNeil (Democratic Party) was a member of the Hazelwood School District school board, At-large in Missouri. McNeil assumed office on April 14, 2017.

McNeil (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Hazelwood School District school board, At-large in Missouri. McNeil won in the general election on April 4, 2017.

Biography

McNeil earned her B.F.A. and M.F.A. in art education from the University of Cincinnati. Her professional experience includes working as a community activist, teacher at Ferguson Florissant School, and freelance artist. She has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Saint Louis Community College, League of Women Voters, Missouri National Education Association, Missouri Women's Network, National Art Education Association, and National Organization for Women; and has been Chair of the Missouri National Education Association.[1]

Three seats on the Hazelwood School District school board were up for at-large general election on April 4, 2017. A total of six candidates filed for the seats. Board incumbent Brenda C. Youngblood faced challengers Mark Behlmann, Margo McNeil, Elizabeth Rachel, Marcus Allen, and Benton Smith. Youngblood, Behlmann, and McNeil won the election.[2][3]
