Biography
Michael McConnell was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He served in the United States Navy from 1970 to 1972. McConnell earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from the UIC John Marshall Law School. His career experience includes working in two family-owned businesses and being the owner and operator of a hospitality travel property.[1]

Navy aviation. Graduate of John Marshall Law School. Worked in two successful family owned
businesses: Industrial manufacture of concrete block. Owned and operated a hospitality travel
property. No present ownership interest in these businesses. Retired from active employment.
My wife Karen and I are happily married with two married sons. Each son has two children. Four grandchildren keep our days fun and our hearts full of love. We are active in our church.- FAMILIES: I support programs that strengthen the families in our community. Strong families are an important part of the foundation of a strong and stable community and country. SECOND AMENDMENT: Support the right to self-defense as provided in the second amendment of the Constitution.
- COMMUNITY SAFETY: Support our law enforcement to keep our communities safe. EDUCATION: Support our teachers, students, and school administration. For our children and society, open our schools safely to in person teaching. Temporarily provide the option of student at home computer teaching.
- ECONOMY: Support rapid and safe policies to reopen our economy and businesses. WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT: Provide tools and programs to create the opportunity for everyone to learn and succeed in their career.
