I am husband, father, and Marine Corps Veteran. I am running for the TN 03 Congressional seat because of my sense of duty. I will ensure that all residents of TN 03 have a voice and it is heard loudly and clearly.

I am passionate about many public policy issues. My top three are: education, infrastructure, and criminal justice reform.

When we think about education we must stop just thinking about k-12 but including early childhood development as well ensuring that our children are well equipped to enter a rewarding career or continue their educational heights.

Infrastructure has been a stumbling block not just for the third congressional district of Tennessee but for the entire country. Because of the lack of investment over the decades we are falling behind in every way. This is our chance to win the future and level the playing field for all. With sound investments in high speed rail, 5G technology that will connect students with teachers and businesses with the global community our country and district will be able to compete on the world stage while closing the wealth and educational gaps.

While the US only makes up only about 9% of the world population we house 40% of the world incarcerated and that isn’t right. While I do believe in paying your debt to society we also must prepare the individual for re-entry back into society so they do not offend again. We have work to do in every level of criminal justice reform such as ending qualified immunity to felony voter rights reform. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work.
I have many heroes in my life. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to know each one of them personally. My family is a huge part of my life. Each member I have admired and modeled a portion of my life after.
Your responsibility is to the individuals that elected you and those that didn’t. You must bridge the divide in your District. While improving the lives of all Americans.
I want to love this world better for my children and future grandchildren than I received it. Forward progress is what we all should strive for in life.
The collapse of the Berlin Wall is one that I remember vividly. As a 9 year I felt a kinship to the Germans that were reuniting with long lost family members. During that time my family was reuniting with family members as well.
At 14, I worked at a family owned furniture company in Toledo Ohio, Banner Mattress. I was a stock boy there for three years. It taught me how to conduct myself professionally and how important time management was.
The House gives you a unique opportunity to represent your family and friends. You are able to express and impact their lives directly.
No, I think President Lincoln said it best “...a government of the people, by the people, for the people...” That selfless call to serve your fellow man is the only quality a politician need have.
Yes, you should answer for your record frequently to the people you represent.
Representative John Lewis is someone I have long admired. His dedication to his constituents and the American people is something I proudly see making a comeback from other Representatives he inspired. That I am myself want to help continue.
