The primary election for District 100 took place on July 19, and the general election was held held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was July 5, 2016. Incumbent Sylleste Davis defeated Tonia Aiken-Taylor in the South Carolina House of Representatives District 100 general election.[1][2]
