Theresa Middlebrooks
Theresa Middlebrooks was a Democratic candidate in the February 7, 2012 special election for the Georgia House of Representatives, District 60. The special election was called to fill the vacancy created when Gloria Bromell Tinubu (D) resigned to run for South Carolina's 7th District U.S. House seat.[1][2]
Elections
2012
Middlebrooks was defeated by Keisha Sean Waites (D) in the special election on February 7. Latrenka Riley (D) also ran. In Georgia special elections, party affiliation is listed, but all candidates appear on the same ballot. Since Waites received over 50% of the vote, the March 6 runoff election was averted.[3]
