Sidney A. Jones, III
Sidney A. Jones, III is a former resident judge of the Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois. He joined the bench in 1985 and retired in 2001, later rejoining the court when he was recalled by the Illinois Supreme Court in 2008, 2010, and 2013.[1][2][3] Jones retired again in 2015.[4]
Education
Jones earned a B.S. from the University of Illinois, going on to receive his J.D. from Northwestern University. He was admitted to the bar in 1973.[5]
Career
From 1975 until joining the court in 1985, Jones ran a general private practice.[1]
