|- Communities need to have food, shelter, transportation, education, justice, and healthcare security. It is the job of elected officials to make sure that there is adequate funding and staffing to provide these basic securites to everyone. All members of the community must have soical and economic justice. The Amecian Dream with its inalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness must be available to all.
- Money and the desire for power should not control our elected officials. Money needs to remove from the political process and negaive campaigning needs to stop. We all have the same desire to succeed and provide for our families. Republicans and Democrats want everyone's needs to be met and to make our communities a great place to live and raise our children. We need to return to civility in the political arena. There should be civil debates and discussions of our differences. We need to work together to make sure our government officials work for and serve the communities they represent.
- Individuals should control their own health care. We need to make sure insurance companies and government do not make health care for us. Abortion is health care and should not be restricted by government. The government should not tell us to have an abortion nor should they tell not to have one. I'm pro-choice for health care.
