Jahna Lindemuth
Jahna Lindemuth was the Alaska attorney general from 2016 to 2018. She was appointed to the position by Governor Bill Walker (Ind.) on June 28, 2016, and assumed office on August 8, 2016.[1] She replaced interim officeholder Jim Cantor, who was appointed to the position on June 23, 2016, following the resignation of Craig W. The Alaska attorney general is an appointed position. Lindemuth served at the pleasure of the governor. She did have to run for re-election.
Prior to her appointment as attorney general, Lindemuth had been considered for a seat on the Alaska Supreme Court earlier in 2016. Susan Carney was ultimately appointed to that position.
