|"My motto is Say what you mean and mean what you say!"
I've been a conservative since 1980 when I voted for Ronald Reagan in my first election. Many times, I've voted for so-called conservatives that wimp out in the face of media, re-election worries, or criticism of any kind. I believe if you have true principles then you should be willing to stick by them and defend them. Otherwise, you are just a conservative as long as it is convenient for you and not when it counts.
I intend to serve for We The People....not we the politicians, not we the government, and not even we the Republican party.- I am the true tested by time conservative in my race. I've supported a family, struggled through hard times, and lived my principles and values for decades.
- I say what I mean and mean what I say. I have a blue collar, calloused hands, and a steep spine for conservatism.
- If 2 people always agree, 1 isn't thinking for him/herself so disagreements will happen. In that case, I believe every effort should be made to disagree agreeably, which seems to an obsolete idea these days.
