Richard Sandy is a judge for the Maryland Sixth Circuit Court, serving Frederick County. He was appointed to the seat on June 13, 2016, by Gov. Larry Hogan (R) to fill the vacancy created by Judge G. Edward Dwyer, Jr.'s retirement.[1]
