Messmer is Co-owner of Messmer Mechanical, and is a professional/licensed engineer. He worked as a Project Engineer with John Brown Engineering from 1986-1988, and Mechanical Engineer with Dow Chemical from 1985-1986.
He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Jasper Kiwanis, Holy Family Catholic Church, and American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air conditioning Engineers, Evansville Chapter.[1]
