Alabama Escambia County Officials Amendment (1980)

The Alabama Escambia County Officials Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 19, 1980, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that, subject to the approval of voters in Escambia County, the legislature would be authorized to set the court fees and compensation of officials in that county.[1]
