Amy Driesbach is the Place 7 representative on the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District school board in Texas. First elected in 2015, Driesbach won a new term in the by-district general election on November 7, 2017.

Driesbach graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in education. She went on to receive her master's in educational administration after spending time teaching junior high. She has worked as a member and officer of parent teacher committees and served on the District Improvement Committee and Community Curriculum Advisory Committee. She has assisted with band boosters and a parents' golf club.[1]

Four of seven seats on the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District school board in Texas were up for at-large general election on November 7, 2017. Three incumbents filed for re-election.[2]

Place 6 incumbent David Pevoto, Place 7 incumbent Amy Driesbach, and former trustee Edward Finley were unopposed in their election bids. Finley ran for the Place 4 seat. Incumbent Gary Inmon defeated challengers Grumpy Azzoz and Charles Huff for the Place 5 seat.[2]

Four seats on the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District Board of Trustees were up for election on November 3, 2015.[3] Trustees are elected by place, at-large, and by plurality.[4]

Place 1 incumbent Scott B. Harrod, Place 2 incumbent Robert Westbrook and Place 3 incumbent Edward Finley's seats were up for election. There was also a special election for the unexpired term of Place 7 incumbent George Ricks. Westbrook was the only incumbent to file for re-election and won without opposition. Gerald Perkins defeated Meredith Hernandez and Dani Salas to replace Harrod in Place 1. John Correau won election without opposition in his race to replace Finley. Amy Driesbach defeated Terence Benson and Angelina Galvez Kiser to win the District 7 special election.[5]
