Andrew Stevens was a 2016 Republican candidate for North Carolina Commissioner of Agriculture. He was defeated by incumbent Steve Troxler (R) in the March 15 Republican primary.

Stevens is a supervisor at XLC Services, a warehouse management company in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is also an active member of Grass Roots NC, a prominent gun-rights group, and has lobbied on behalf of pro-legislation across the state. He achieved the rank of Major in the U.S. Army before he left the service in 1991.[1]

Stevens filed paperwork with the North Carolina State Board of Elections declaring him a candidate for the North Carolina Agriculture Commissioner 2016 election. He was defeated by incumbent Steve Troxler in the March 15 Republican primary.[2]
