An Ann Arbor City Art Tax Amendment proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Washtenaw County, which is in Michigan, where it was defeated.
If approved, this proposal would have amended the Ann Arbor City Charter to limit the funding for art in public places and to establish and new tax of up to 0.10 of a mill for 2013-2016 to fund art in public places.[1]
