A secondary concern is the current national debt and unfunded liabilities. The current national debt is over $30 trillion, which is over $92,000 per every person in America. Then there is unfunded liabilities of the US federal government—which are items like Social Security and Medicare. These unfunded liabilities totals range from $100-$200 trillion—which equals an additional $280,000 to $560,000 per person. The bottom line—the current national debt and unfunded liabilities amounts is between $375,000 to $650,000 per person. It got this far out of hand because of malfeasance by our leadership class.
A third concern is the cultural decline—and the outright lawlessness, especially in Democrat controlled areas. It got this far out of hand because of malfeasance by our leadership class.
Jeff Silvey (R)
I support the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The rights and protections provided by our Founding Fathers are being eroded.
A short-list of my concerns include:
· The economy and inflation, which undermines families' abilities to meet their monthly bills and save for the future.
· The current national debt and future unfunded liabilities.
· Protection of individual liberties (1st, 2nd, 4th 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th Amendments)
· The over-reach of the Federal Government (10th Amendment)
· The Administrative State, often referred to as the 4th Branch of Government
· Preservation of Our National Sovereignty
