Beaver Island Library Levy Renewal (August 2010)

A Beaver Island Library Levy Renewal measure was on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the Beaver Island library district which is in Charlevoix County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 262 (76.16%)Approveda
  • NO 82 (23.84%)[1]

This measure sought to renew the current library levy of .94 mills an also restores the .0583 levy that had been in place previously. The levies will be in place for a further five years and will go towards funding operational and maintenance costs of the library district.[2]
