Bill Foster (Republican Party) was a member of the Mobile County Public School System in Alabama, representing District 5. Foster assumed office in 2010. Foster left office on December 14, 2022.
Foster (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Mobile County Public School System to represent District 5 in Alabama. Foster won in the general election on November 8, 2016.
Biography
Foster was a teacher and principal in the district until his retirement in 2010.[1]

One of the five seats on the Mobile County Public Schools school board was up for general election on November 8, 2016. District 5 incumbent Bill Foster (R) defeated challenger Theresa Hubbard (R) in the primary election on March 1, 2016. Foster won re-election without opposition in the general election.[2]

In an interview with Lagniappe, Foster cited his support for ongoing facility renovations, his relationship with Superintendent Martha Peek and the district's efforts to become a charter school authorizer as reasons for his re-election campaign.[1]
