William Magee (Democratic Party) was a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 121. Magee assumed office in 2013. Magee left office on January 1, 2019.

Magee (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 121. Magee lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.

He was first elected to the chamber in 1990.

He previously represented District 111 in the Assembly from 1991 to 2013. Magee's political experience included being a member of the County Board of Supervisors and supervisor for the Town of Nelson.

Magee passed away on December 24, 2020.[1]

Biography

Magee earned his B.A. in Agricultural Economics from Cornell University. His professional experience includes being a professional auctioneer with Magee's Auction Service, a manager of agriculture and livestock/equestrian events and the manager/coordinator of special projects for the New York State Fair.[2]
