A Bloomfield Township Levy Renewal proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Missaukee County, which is in Michigan, where it was approved.

This proposal authorized the Township of Bloomfield to renew a property tax levy of 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 4 years in order to reconstruct roads and replace bridges. The estimated first year revenue from this tax is $15,372.[1]

Language on the ballot:

Shall the Township of Bloomfield, County of Missaukee, State of Michigan, renew a tax in an amount not to exceed 1 Mill ($1.00 per $1,000.00) of the Taxable Value on all TAxable property in Bloomfield Township for four (4) years 2013,2014, 2015, 2016 in order to reconstruct roads and replace bridges?

If approved and levied in its entirety in the first year following authorization, this millage would raise an estimated $15,372.00.[1][2]
