Borough of Lemoyne alcohol sales referendum, 2009
There was a Borough of Lemoyne alcohol sales referendum on the May 19, 2009 ballot in Cumberland County in the borough of Lemoyne.[1] The referendum was approved.[2]
The plan would allow Lemoyne restaurants to sell liquor, which supporters claim is necessary for the revitalization of the downtown area. Two similar referenda failed in past years.[3]
Signature requirements
569 signatures were required, and 754 were submitted.[1]
