The question on the ballot:
Shall the limitation of the amount of taxes which may be imposed on taxable property in the Township of Breen, County of Dickinson, State of Michigan, be increased by 2 mills ($2.00 per $1,000) of taxable value for a period of five years, 2014 to 2018, inclusive, to be used by the Breen Township Board, specifically for the purpose of blacktopping Breen Township roads? It is estimated that the 2 mills would raise approximately $35,113.05 when first levied in 2014. This is a renewal.[3] |
