Brian Dunnigan is the former Nebraska Director of Natural Resources. He was appointed by Gov. Dave Heineman in 2008.[1] Dunnigan announced his resignation in November 2014. His tenure as director ended on December 7, 2014.[2]

Dunnigan is a registered engineer who is a certified floodplain manager. From the 1980s to 2014, he worked with the Department of Natural Resources.[1]
