|Brittany D. Foley is a KCPS parent, neighborhood leader, and advocate dedicated to ensuring every child has access to a strong neighborhood school. As Chairwoman of the KCPS District Advisory Board and a Blue Hills Neighborhood Association Board Member, she fights for policies that empower students, engage families, and strengthen neighborhoods.
When her son's school, Troost Elementary, closed, she experienced firsthand the instability KCPS families endure. She is committed to keeping neighborhood schools open and funded, investing in teachers, and ensuring transparency in district decisions.
Her campaign, Foley for Our Future, is about strong neighborhood schools, transparency, and real community engagement without political games.
On April 8, 2025, vote for a leader who fights for families, students, and our future. No Masters. No Bias. Just a Better Future for Our Kids.- No Masters, No Bias. I am not controlled by special interests, large endorsements, or outside agendas. I will make decisions that put students, parents, and educators first.
- Neighborhood Schools, Stronger Communities. Our children should be able to attend excellent schools in their own neighborhoods. I will push for policies that prevent school closures and ensure every child has access to quality education close to home.
- Transparency and accountability. Families deserve clear communication from the district. I will fight for open decision-making and hold leadership accountable to our students and parents. I want to help mend the broken trust between communities and the district.
