A Mother. A Leader. A Fighter for Our Future.

Brittany D. Foley is a KCPS parent, neighborhood leader, and advocate dedicated to ensuring every child has access to a strong neighborhood school. As Chairwoman of the KCPS District Advisory Board and a Blue Hills Neighborhood Association Board Member, she fights for policies that empower students, engage families, and strengthen neighborhoods.

When her son's school, Troost Elementary, closed, she experienced firsthand the instability KCPS families endure. She is committed to keeping neighborhood schools open and funded, investing in teachers, and ensuring transparency in district decisions.

Her campaign, Foley for Our Future, is about strong neighborhood schools, transparency, and real community engagement without political games.

On April 8, 2025, vote for a leader who fights for families, students, and our future. No Masters. No Bias. Just a Better Future for Our Kids.
  • No Masters, No Bias. I am not controlled by special interests, large endorsements, or outside agendas. I will make decisions that put students, parents, and educators first.
  • Neighborhood Schools, Stronger Communities. Our children should be able to attend excellent schools in their own neighborhoods. I will push for policies that prevent school closures and ensure every child has access to quality education close to home.
  • Transparency and accountability. Families deserve clear communication from the district. I will fight for open decision-making and hold leadership accountable to our students and parents. I want to help mend the broken trust between communities and the district.
Supporting teachers through fair pay and resources, Restorative justice and diversion programs, Affordable housing and tenant protections, Financial literacy education for youth and families, and much more.
My grandmother, Linda Gail Johnson, she always helped out the families and kids on the block. She fed and clothed folks and taught me about being a good neighbor.

A leader who listens to what their constituents want.
Manage the KCPS budget, oversee the superintendent, ability to listen, show up to community events, and to be involved in policy.
Politics without compromise is possible. I want to show that bold, community-driven leadership can win!
Chili's! I stayed their part time a few hours a week up until 2022!
"Ribbon In the Sky" - Stevie Wonder
Listen to the community, oversee the superintendent, and manage the budget/allocate resources.
Students, teachers, families, local grass root organizations, neighborhood folks, Bond voters, and taxpayers.
Financial transparency and accountability are essential for a school district that truly serves its students. Taxpayer dollars must be invested wisely, with clear oversight and public access to spending reports. Accountability means no hidden agendas and no backroom deals. Families and educators deserve to know why budget decisions are made, not just the final outcome. Everything comes back to trust!
