The California Online Voting System Initiative (#15-0108A1) was a proposed initiative and was not put on the November 8, 2016, ballot in California as an initiated state statute.
The measure would have required the secretary of state to move to an online voting system by December 31, 2017, using $45 million from the Voting Modernization Bond Act of 2002 to finance it.[1]

- A title and summary were issued by California's attorney general's office on January 19, 2016.[2]
- 365,880 valid signatures are required for qualification purposes.
- Supporters had until July 18, 2016, to collect the required signatures.
