As the only trustee born and raised in Keller ISD and attended its schools, I bring a unique perspective to the board. My husband and I have been married for 20 years and are parents to two children currently attending Keller ISD. My deep connection to this community motivates me to give back to the district that shaped me.

Professionally, I’ve built a career in Retail Banking Management, developing leadership and organizational skills. In the past, I’ve owned a photography business for 11 years. More recently I’ve freelanced in marketing and design. These experiences have sharpened my creativity, adaptability, and strategic thinking—skills I use as a trustee.

My journey began as a PTA mom, where I gained insight into school operations and identified areas for meaningful change. Serving on the Council of PTAs committee deepened my understanding of the district’s needs and inspired me to advocate for consistent programs across the ISD. This commitment to quality education fueled my interest in the school board’s actions.

In the summer of 2024, I applied for a vacant board position, eager to amplify my advocacy efforts. I was honored to be appointed in August 2024. Today, I remain devoted to fostering a stronger, more consistent educational experience for ALL students in Keller ISD.
  • I am committed to ensuring every dollar spent in our district directly benefits our students and teachers. By prioritizing financial transparency and fostering community collaboration, I will work to identify creative solutions that maximize resources without compromising the quality of education. Together, we can build a sustainable future for our schools, ensuring every student has the tools they need to succeed.
  • I am dedicated to supporting our teachers, who are the backbone of our schools. I will work tirelessly to secure funding for well-deserved raises and ensure our educators feel valued and appreciated. By investing in our teachers, we invest in the future of our students and our community.
  • I am passionate about ensuring consistency in programs across all feeder patterns so that every student, no matter which school they attend, has equal access to high-quality resources and opportunities. By creating a cohesive experience, we can set all our students up for success, from elementary to high school and beyond.
Financial transparency is a cornerstone of trust and accountability within our district. It is important to me because I believe every taxpayer deserves to understand how their contributions are being used to support our schools, students, and teachers. By focusing on these policies, I aim to ensure that resources are managed responsibly and decisions are made in the best interest of our community and its future.
I feel that integrity, accountability, compassion, collaboration, and commitment to stakeholders are the most important characteristics of an elected official.
As an officeholder, I bring a deep sense of integrity, ensuring that every decision I make is guided by what is right and in the best interest of those I serve. My strong work ethic drives me to approach each challenge with determination and diligence, never settling for less than what our students, teachers, and community deserve. I value honesty and transparency, believing that trust is built through clear communication and accountability. Above all, I carry a sense of honor in representing the voices of the district, treating this role as a profound responsibility and privilege
A school board trustee is responsible for setting policies that govern the district, ensuring they comply with state and federal laws. Trustees oversee the district's financial management, maintaining transparency and accountability in how funds are used. They hire and evaluate the superintendent, providing leadership oversight to ensure the district's success. Trustees represent the community's voice in decisions that impact students, families, and staff. Additionally, they advocate for equal resources and opportunities to support all students' educational needs.
The primary job of a school board member is to provide governance and oversight for the school district, ensuring that policies and decisions align with the educational needs of students and the community's values. This includes setting the district's vision and goals, approving budgets to allocate resources responsibly, and hiring and evaluating the superintendent to ensure effective leadership. School board members also advocate for quality education while serving as a bridge between the district and the community, making informed decisions that reflect the best interests of all stakeholders
All residents that reside within the district boundaries. This diverse community consists of students, parents, teachers, staff, and taxpayers who rely on our leadership to represent their interests and ensure the district's success.
As a trustee, I would support the diverse needs of our district by advocating for quality education and resources for all students. I would prioritize competitive salaries and professional development for faculty and staff to foster a positive work environment. Through transparency and open communication, I’d ensure the community's voices are heard, creating collaborative solutions that reflect their values
I will build strong relationships by engaging directly with parents, students, teachers, and local organizations like PTAs and advocacy groups. I’ll also collaborate with community leaders, businesses, and taxpayers to ensure open communication and shared goals. By fostering these connections, we can create meaningful partnerships that benefit our schools and community.
I have a few pending and will update you when they are announced.
I will strengthen relationships with parents by attending events across campuses, demonstrating my commitment to understanding the unique needs of each school community. Additionally, I will host events specifically for parents, providing a platform for them to share their concerns and advocate for their schools. By creating these opportunities for open dialogue and collaboration, I aim to build trust and foster a stronger connection with families throughout the district.
Transparency ensures that the community understands how resources are allocated and used, fostering confidence in the district's decisions. Accountability means holding ourselves responsible for making decisions that are not only ethical but also in the best interests of students, staff, and taxpayers.
