Chicago Ward 3 Alcohol Policy Questions, 4 (February 2011)
Four Chicago Ward 3 Alcohol Policy Questions were on the February 22, 2011 ballot in the Ward 3 area of Chicago which is in Cook County.
All four measures were approved[1]
These four questions asked residents in ward 3 if they wanted to limit the hours of Aristo Food and Liquor and 200 Cut Rate Liquors as well as limit the types of alcoholic beverages being sold at the two stores. These four questions were not legally binding, they will just help ward officials get a gauge of the feeling of residents in those areas. The owner of Aristo Foods noted that he did not understand why a question about hours would be brought up when the store closed before the proposed change in hours.[2]
