Pena was a Republican candidate for District 14 of the New Mexico House of Representatives. The primary election was on June 1, 2010, and the general election was on November 2, 2010.

Pena ran in the 2012 election for New Mexico House of Representatives District 14. She ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012.[1] She was defeated by incumbent Miguel P. Garcia (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
2010
Pena was unopposed in the June 1 primary. Pena lost to incumbent Miguel Garcia (D) in the general election on November 2.[4]
